Identity verification

Identity verification confirms who you are, as a person or on behalf of an organisation. You need it before you can get a token verified, and it puts a verified mark next to your account name.

You don't need it to sign in, launch a token or invest.

What it gives you

  • Verifying tokens you launch. See Token verification.
  • The verified mark next to your account name.

Apply

  1. In the app, open Settings › Identity verification, or go straight to identity verification.
  2. Choose who you're verifying:
    • Individual: you're verifying your own identity.
    • Organization: you represent a company or other legal entity.
  3. Choose your Country of residence. The questions and documents asked for depend on it.
  4. Answer each step and upload the documents asked for, such as a passport, national identity card, driving licence or residence permit. Select Save and continue after each step; your progress is kept if you stop.
  5. Select Review answers, check everything, and select Send for review.

For an organisation, you'll also give its legal name, registration number and country of registration.
